mobility services

For those displaying a valid mobility sticker, there are designated parks in the main car park. The terminal has broad automated entry doors and the toilets cater for those with mobility issues. Wheelchairs are also available. Please speak with the friendly check in staff upon arrival for further assistance.

In the event that medical assistance is required, please see one of the Air New Zealand or airport staff located within the terminal.

bagagge allowance

Your available baggage allowance will depend on your ticket type and the airline you are travelling with.

lost property

For items left on an Air New Zealand aircraft or in the terminal, please complete the  online lost property form or contact 0800 224 872

For lost valuables such as wallets and passports, customers should contact the 
Hokitika Police Station.

Animals (except animals travelling as cargo or guide dogs) are not permitted in the airport precinct. For information on animals travelling as cargo, please contact the airline

Services at the airport l include; licensed cafe, staffed vehicle rental terminal, airport operations staff, free wifi, luggage trolleys, baby changing facilities in accessible unisex toilets. and wheelchairs.

hidden disabilities

Hokitika Airport is now proudly participating in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard scheme.
